We will have multiple PhD positions and one Postdoc position opening for Spring/Fall 2018.
In particular, we are looking for self-motivated PhD candidates or graduates with research interests in hardware implementation of machine learning and deep neural network. Qualified students with the following backgrounds are considered:
- strong coding capability (e.g. C/C++, Python), and experiences with convolutional neural network and deep learning platforms such as Caffe, Theano, Tensorflow will be a big plus.
- VLSI circuit design or EDA tool development, and CMOS tape-out experiences will be a big plus.
- nanofabrication, device modeling and characterization, and experiences related to emerging non-volatile memory will be a big plus.
If you are a prospective student interested in the PhD program at ASU, please contact me by email with your CV and research statement, and potentially schedule a Skype meeting. You may apply to the electrical engineering or computer engineering program at School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (deadline 12/31 for fall enrollment, and 7/31 for spring enrollment).
If you are a postdoc candidate, please contact me by email with your CV and research statement, and potentially schedule a Skype meeting.
If you are a ASU on-campus student already, please contact me by email with your CV and research statement, and potentially schedule an in-person meeting.
