Hala is studying how an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) can be reliable and its effects on project performance. She is also identifying the most common criteria for qualification-based selection (QBS) of contracting firms in alternative project delivery methods (APDMs). She is a recipient of the 2021 Fulton Fellowship by Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering and the 2021 University Graduate Fellowship Grant.
