class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Renewable energy, photovoltaics, photonics and optoelectronics cover electrical and electronic devices that make use of light, such as renewable power generation and lasers. Applications in the field include medical imaging devices, solar panels and digital cameras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research in the area conducted by electrical engineering faculty members in the Ira A.
