wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Semiconductors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Semiconductors are materials that can conduct electricity, but not as efficiently as conductor materials. Semiconductor materials are used with conductors to create semiconductor chips, power electronics and solar panels, and the term \u201csemiconductor\u201d has become used as shorthand for chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Electrical engineering faculty members in the Ira A.
