At OSU, his research work focused on plasma assisted MBE growth of&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fdoi.org%2F10.1063%2F5.0057203&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AOvVaw2c9yoTzaBPlmSxDL7U4qpo\" target=\"_blank\">\u03b2<\/a>-(Al<sub>x<\/sub>Ga<sub>1-x<\/sub>)<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub>\/Ga<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub>&nbsp;heterostructures and fabrication of&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fdoi.org%2F10.1063%2F5.0057203&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AOvVaw2c9yoTzaBPlmSxDL7U4qpo\" target=\"_blank\">\u03b2<\/a>-Ga<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub>&nbsp;lateral high voltage transistors. Before joining OSU for his PhD, Dr. Kalarickal was with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where he completed his bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in Materials Science with a minor in Physics. He has a master&#8217;s in Electrical Engineering from Texas State University, USA, specializing in oxide thin film growth and characterization.
