Qualified candidates will be financially supported with full research assistantship. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Research will focus on state-of-the-art Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for advanced manufacturing and robotics, or other emerging engineering applications.<\/span> Specific topics may cover one or more of the subtopics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Causal analytics based on explainable machine learning and hybrid (physics-informed and data-driven) modeling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digitization of physical, real entities and properties using data fusion, integration, and registration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data-driven process characterization and uncertainty quantification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data-driven decision-support for design, in-situ monitoring and control, or ex-situ evaluation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI models for real-time, cyber-physical, manufacturing systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>B.S. or M.S. degree in engineering, statistics, or computer science;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International students need to meet the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fadmission.asu.edu%2Finternational%2Fgraduate%2Fenglish-proficiency&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AFQjCNHQpUeyiaIevbav0PcOVbUDmjal0g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">English proficiency requirement<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are interested in, please feel free to send an email with a resume\/CV and transcripts to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:Hyunwoong.Ko@asu.edu\" target=\"_blank\">Hyunwoong.Ko@asu.edu<\/a>.
