Frank Lee

Graduate Student

(Ph.D., 2019-current, coadvised by Prof. Chris Brinton): I am a Ph.D. student at Purdue University, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I received my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Kaohsiung, Taiwan and my M.S. degree in Communication Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan in 2016 and 2018 respectively. My research at NTU focused on the development of edge-cloud SDN systems. At the same time, I worked with the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica, specializing in evolutionary algorithms and supercomputing designs. My current research interests include distributed machine learning, cloud/edge computing, optimization and cross-layer algorithm. During my leisure time, I like traveling, biking, playing guitar and table tennis.
