This morning Eric and Casey successfully defended their honors thesis one after the other and passed without revisions! A first for the lab and a fun time all around!  

Dr. Nikkhah has been honored as Outstanding Assistant Professor by his peers in SBHSE! We in the lab agree! Congratulations!

Danh Truong’s final paper titled “Human Organotypic Microfluidic Tumor Model Permits Investigation of the Interplay Between Patient-derived Fibroblasts and Breast Cancer Cells” has been accept to the journal Cancer Research! Look out for Danh’s  article titled “A Three-Dimensional (3D) Organotypic Microfluidic Model for Glioma Stem Cell – Vascular Interactions” in Biomaterials as part of special theme issue on Ex Vivo Tissue Chip Models in collaborations with Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI)! Eric is a co-authors on the paper as well.
