Tyson Waag

2018. Current position: Wenck, WY

Tyson Waag is a master’s student in environmental engineering. His research interests are water/wastewater treatment, desalination, reverse osmosis membrane processes, and membrane biofouling reduction. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2009-2013 as an Advanced Water Treatment Specialist. While he was in, he served one tour in Afghanistan where he purified over 4 million gallons of water in support of the troops and local populace. He obtained his B.S. in civil engineering from Arizona State University and is currently finishing his M.S. in environmental and sustainable engineering. He is graduating in Fall 2018 and hopes to become a part of the water resources team at Wenck Enterprise, Inc..
