Zhiwei Xiao is a first year master degree student. He received his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Dalian University of Technology in July 2017. During his undergraduate study he participated in the College Students Innovative Entrepreneurial Training Program as an assistant and focused on the topic about Construction of Novel Cyclodextrin-Fe-TAML Catalytic System for Water Micropollutants Removal. He joined Dr. Perreault’s reserach group based on his interest in the application of nanomaterials in water treatment. He is interested in research about the membrane fouling and the performance and characteristic of nanomaterials, like the adsorption of contaminants by graphene sheet. MS.D.
