Neeta Kumar

Ph.D Student

Neeta Kumar received her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering from JNTU (India, 2013) and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from ASU (USA, 2015). Her Bachelor’s research focused on the analysis of epileptic EEG recordings. Her Master’s research with Dr. Sadleir centered on MREIT (Magnetic Resonance Electrical Impedance Tomography) studies of gel phantoms mimicking anisotropic tissues such as white matter in the brain. Neeta’s PhD research is involved in the development of MRI-safe neural stimulation electrodes to facilitate fMRI and fMREIT (functional MREIT) studies of parkinsonian rodent models in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) contexts.
