Engineering prof selected as U.S. EPA adviser

ASU professor, Paul Westerhoff has been appointed to a three-year term on the U.S. EPA Science Advisory Council. His work in the field of water quality and treatment recommended him for the position. As a board member he will participate in reviewing scientific and technical information  being proposed for regulation, regulatory decisions and advising the agency on broad scientific matters and emergency matters. He will help guide the agency in decisions of policy- and decision-making.
