Instrument Access

  • Safety Training: Please finish all the required safety training sessions (ASU Information Security Training, Laboratory Safety, FIRE Safety/Prevention, Hazardous Waste Management) on the EHS website.
  • Request Lab Access: 1. Send all the training certificate to Dr. Chen; 2. Request access through ISAAC: https://isaacrequest.asu.edu/)
  • Instrument Training: Finish the training for the specific instrument and get approval from Instrument Manager.

Chemical Inventory and Handling Rule:

  • The inventory list includes storage locations for each chemical. If a chemical is moved, please ensure its location is updated accordingly.
  • When opening a new chemical container, please record the opening date on the label.
  • When feasible, particularly if the full quantity is not required or the chemical is shared, please aliquot chemicals into smaller containers to minimize repeated opening and reduce contamination risk.
  • To maintain a safe and efficient workspace, everyone is kindly asked to keep the lab clean and clean their work area at the end of each day.
