Carbon Management Symposium 2025!

The Center for Negative Carbon Emissions at ASU hosted the Carbon Management Symposium on August 11, 2025. The comprehensive symposium featured prominent industry executives and leading researchers who explored the latest developments in carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies. The sessions were focused on advancements in sorbent performance, integrating DAC with energy systems, utilizing AI, examining the social impacts, and adapting to funding priorities. It was an enriching experience for the students to ideate and interact with participants from various universities. Overall, the symposium epitomized the prominence of collaborative effort between academic institutions and industry leaders to advance carbon management technologies.
