Dr. Kalarickal joined the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at ASU as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2022.He completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2022. At OSU, his research work focused on plasma assisted MBE growth of β-(AlxGa1-x)2O3/Ga2O3 heterostructures and fabrication of β-Ga2O3 lateral high voltage transistors. Before joining OSU for his PhD, Dr. Kalarickal was with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where he completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Materials Science with a minor in Physics. At ASU, his research work focusses on wide and ultra-wide band gap semiconductors and devices for application in power electronics and RF/mm-wave circuits
