One step closer to achieving his goal!!

Parisa was part of a consecutive bachelor’s to PhD program in Biotechnology at the University of Tehran. The focus of her previous research was on bone tissue engineering and the development of 3D scaffolds from naturally occurring biomaterials. She altered her PhD path by joining the ASU SHBSE PhD program. Welcome to the lab, Parisa!!

Michelle is a 4+1 BME student who, in her undergrad years, worked in Dr. Zhu’s lab at Mayo Clinic, where her focus was cardiomyocyte stem cell research. Twinkle defended her master’s thesis in June 2023, which was passed with no revision. Following which, she enrolls in a PhD program under Dr. Nikkhah’s guidance, where she will be working on Tumor-on-a-chip model.
