Ammaar is an undergraduate student majoring in Biological Sciences and also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant at Banner Health. He previously has researched in the Biomimicry Center at Arizona State University under Dr. Sara El Sayed and now works under Dr. Nikkhah on microfluidic chip fabrication for breast cancer cell modeling. Under Dr. Nikkhah’s lab mentorship, Ammaar won 3rd place at the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair through ASU’s SCENE program. Ammaar is now interested in the crossover between biomedical engineering, biomimetics, and disease prevention.
