Hamid obtained his B.Sc. in chemical engineering at Petroleum University of Technology, Abadan, Iran (2013), and worked for almost 4 years in industry. Before joining Nikkhah lab (Fall 2020), he was a PhD student at Louisiana State University (2018-2020) for 2 years where he was working on engineering ECM based injectable biomaterials for heart regeneration after MI. In the lab of Dr. Nikkhah, his research Is focused on cardiac tissue engineering. When Hamid is not conducting research, he is drawing or practicing handstand.
