Michelle is part of the BME 4+1 program. During her undergrad year, she was working in Dr. Zhu’s lab at Mayo Clinic, focusing on cardiomyocyte stem cell research and developing therapeutic approaches for cardiac regeneration and repair. In Dr. Nikkhah’s lab, Michelle will be working on Cardiac-on-a-chip model to study the effects of different drugs.
