Parisa was part of a consecutive bachelor’s to PhD program in Biotechnology at the University of Tehran. The focus of her previous research was on bone tissue engineering and the development of 3D scaffolds from naturally occurring biomaterials. She altered her PhD path by joining the ASU SHBSE PhD program and currently focuses on breast cancer tumor-stroma on a chip organotypic model.
