Ana C. Barrios

2021. Current position: NRC Postdoctoral fellow, National Institute of Standards and Technology

Ana Barrios graduated with a Ph.D. in Civil, Sustainable, and Environmental engineering in Spring 2021. Her research interests include water treatment technologies, material toxicity, and nanomaterials. She obtained her B.S. in Biochemistry with honors and her M.S. in Chemistry at the University of Texas in El Paso. Her current research focuses on material optimization for bromide removal from surface water.
