Stephanie Bone is developing a novel methodological platform to study physicochemical interactions between waterborne viruses and bacteria. She is currently cultivating and analyzing E. coli and T4 bacteriophage on amine-functionalized silica surface through physisoprtion and chemisorption methods. Her and Dr. Perreault are writing a scientific paper to be published for scientific journal to be determined.
