Rent or purchase faculty regalia for ASU and Fulton Schools ceremonies
When will I need my regalia?
Each semester, Fulton Schools faculty members participate in ASU graduation ceremonies, Fulton Schools Convocations and occasionally other academic ceremonies where they must wear regalia. If you have regalia from your doctoral institution, you are all set.
If you do not have regalia, ASU provides the opportunity to rent or purchase regalia at a discount each semester.
Plan to carry your regalia in to graduation ceremonies
All graduates, faculty and guests will go through security, including a bag check, when entering the a graduation ceremony.
Graduates and faculty must carry their gown when clearing security. Gowns may be put on after clearing security.
Please plan for lines at the security check and plan your arrival accordingly.
Banners, flags and/or signs of any shape and size are not permitted inside of any ceremony venue.
Participate in the ceremonies!
Grads love to be have their professors present at their special day. Join us in celebrating the Fulton Schools’ graduates!
Please carry your regalia into the ceremonies you attend and put it on after you go through security.
Rent regalia for spring 2026
Early rental — by April 10
The deadline to rent regalia online is Friday, April 10.
By renting early, you may rent regalia in the style of your conferring school.
Your order will be shipped directly to you and will come with a prepaid return shipping label.
Late rental — starting April 11
You may rent faculty regalia at the ASU Bookstore in Tempe.
The hoods will be ASU colors, not your conferring university’s colors.
You may rent regalia in person at the Tempe location up to the day of graduation.
Purchase regalia for spring 2026
Deadline to purchase regalia: Monday, March 23, 2026
Purchase online
You may purchase regalia from Herff Jones in colors which represent your conferring university, or in standard black.
Standard black regalia package deals are discounted by 20%. You may also purchase individual regalia components.
Custom regalia ordered in your conferring university colors is not discounted.
