Hong Chen transferred to ASU in 2014, he is about to graduate from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in summer, 2015. Hong did some calculations on Purcell effect and investigated several novel FDTD techniques before. So far his research interests is combining optoelectronic devices with plasmonics and doing some simulations on such devices. Moreover, he’s a 4 dan Go player, usually turn up in Memorial Union on Saturday.
Hong Chen graduated with a Ph.D in summer 2020 and is now a Research Scientist at Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics.
