Felicia is a Distinguished Poster Award Finalist at the 2016 Spring ACS Meeting!

Felicia presented a poster titled, “Engineering Ion-Containing Block Copolymers as Next Generation Water Purification Membranes” at the 2016 Spring ACS Meeting in San Diego, CA. She was one of the Distinguished Poster Award finalists, great job!

Felicia co-authored a manuscript titled, “Meta-Analysis of Ionic Liquid Literature and Toxicology,” that was accepted for publication in the journal Chemosphere.

Amodini and Alexander are selected to receive Gore Funding Grants

Amodini’s proposal on AB2-type ionenes as cancer therapeutics and Alexander’s proposal on rheology and fiber spinning were selected for funding! Congratulations!

Zach’s proposal to the Grand Challenges Scholar Program on electrospinning nonwoven mats with tailorable hydrophilicity has been funded. We are very excited to participate in this prestigious program and proud of Zach’s efforts.

Alexander is selected for an internship at PolyOne

Alexander is headed to Cleveland, OH this summer to work in the PolyOne R&D facility.  Congratulations!

Felicia is selected for an internship at CDM Smith

Felicia has been selected as a Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers-CDM Smith Scholar. This summer she will be working as an environmental engineering intern with CDM Smith developing new analytical methods for water treatment studies.

Alexander, Amodini, Anna, Felicia, and Madeline are selected to participate in the FURI program!

We received great news that all five of our applicants were selected to participate in the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative.  We are excited for Anna and Felicia to continue working in the lab, and welcome Alexander, Amodini, and Madeline!
