In line with our unwavering commitment to promoting sustainability, our lab is currently engrossed in pioneering research to synthesize polysulfone polymers using lignin-based monomers. This innovative approach is aimed at replacing petroleum-derived compounds such as Bisphenol A (BPA) and Bisphenol F (BPF), which have earned notoriety as endocrine disruptors. By harnessing the untapped potential of lignin, a plentiful and renewable resource, we aspire to pave the way for the development of greener and safer alternatives in the polymer industry. Through our efforts, we are pushing the boundaries of sustainable science, contributing not just to human health, but also to the health of our planet.
