We are delving into membrane-based separation technologies, addressing the urgent demand for fresh water resources. This research encompasses several key areas of focus. First, we are synthesizing and characterizing the performance of dense, selective zwitterionic polysulfone copolymer membranes for pervaporation desalination. Secondly, we are fabricating and assessing the properties of pretreatment electrospun membranes, a crucial component in reverse osmosis processes. Finally, our work extends to the extensive characterization of commercial anti-scaling resins that have been functionalized with multi-valent attributes. Each of these endeavors seeks to advance our understanding and optimization of water purification technologies.
