Lab renovation

Over last month, another class 1000 portable cleanroom has been successfully installed in our lab ERC326 to protect our unique and delicate optical instruments from desert dust!

Lab cleanroom installed

Today we finally had a new softwall cleanroom installed in our lab. This class 1000 cleanroom with five air filters will provide a much cleaner environment for lots of experiments such as near field radiation measurements, AFM, laser scanning thermoreflectance, etc. Cheers!

Birthday celebration

Home-built AFM up for scanning!

Congrats lab alumnus, Dr. Yue Yang, currently an Assistant Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen Graduate School, for winning the Shenzhen Oversea High Level Program, also called “Peacock Plan”.
