Over last month, another class 1000 portable cleanroom has been successfully installed in our lab ERC326 to protect our unique and delicate optical instruments from desert dust!

Congrats Hassan Alshehri for successfully passing the PhD Comprehensive Exam and Prospectus!

Today we finally had a new softwall cleanroom installed in our lab. This class 1000 cleanroom with five air filters will provide a much cleaner environment for lots of experiments such as near field radiation measurements, AFM, laser scanning thermoreflectance, etc. Cheers!

After group meeting in the Friday afternoon, ASU NETR Group celebrates the birthdays of Prof. Wang and Ms. Sydney Taylor with cake and pizza, with a special guest Jeremy Wang. Hope we can keep this as a group tradition in the future to celebrate the birthday of every group member!

Congrats lab alumnus, Dr. Yue Yang, currently an Assistant Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen Graduate School, for winning the Shenzhen Oversea High Level Program, also called “Peacock Plan”.
