Welcome Mr. Linshuang Long [CV] and Ms. Qing Ni [CV] to visit and conduct research in our lab for 1 year. Linshuang and Qing both are the PhD candidates in Prof. Hong Ye’s group from Univ. Sci. Tech. China. Thanks China Scholarship Council (CSC) for the sponsorship!

Welcome undergraduate student Mr. Nathaniel Ferre for joining our group to work on the development of an AFM tip based metrology for measuring near-field radiative transfer in vacuum. He is funded by the ASU Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017. Welcome and have fun in the lab!

Welcome new PhD student Ms. Xiaoyan Ying [CV] for joining our group! Xiaoyan obtained her Master degree in Mechanical Engineering at ASU in May 2015, and Bachelor degree from China University of Petroleum in June 2014. She will work on the near-field radiation transfer and heat assisted magnetic recording (HAMR). Welcome onboard!
