Big congratulations to Sydney Taylor (major in Aero. Engr.) on winning the prestigious 2016 NASA Space Technology Research Fellowship (NSTRF). She will have lots of fun in researching and developing novel tunable radiative coatings for dynamic thermal management in spacecrafts, by taking advantage of the fantastic facility at our NETGR Lab!

[12/18] Cryo-to-high temp spectroscopy
Thanks to the great efforts from Sydney, Hao, and Yue, our FTIR cryostat is working well, and we have just successfully measured the spectral transmittance of lightly doped silicon sample at temperatures from 77K to 750K at different angles and polarizations. We will have lots of fun with this unique instrument. Cheers!!
