Ethan Cruz

Alumni

Ethan Cruz is an undergraduate student currently studying electrical engineering with focuses in mixed-signal circuit design and prototyping, as well as machine learning applications in wireless sensing. Currently, Ethan has been designing a DC power biasing board which will serve as an expandable foundation for implementing reflectarray antennas into our cities’ infrastructure. Previously, Ethan has worked under the NASA Space Grant as a hardware engineer designing peripherals for the on-board computer system for ASU’s Phoenix CubeSat project. In addition to working in the Terahertz Research Lab, Ethan’s senior capstone project aims to blend together millimeter wave object detection with reflectarrays aided by machine learning algorithms for the purpose of non-line-of-sight (NLoS) vision. He graduated in the Spring of 2021 with a BSE in electrical engineering.
