About
Vidya A. Chhabria is an assistant professor in the School of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. She received her Ph.D. and M. S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in December 2022 and May 2018, respectively, and her B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (Visveswaraya Technological University) in 2016. She spent her graduate research internships at Qualcomm in 2017 and NVIDIA Research (ASIC VLSI Research Group) in 2020 and 2021.
Her research interests lie in computer-aided design (CAD) for VLSI systems and primarily revolve around physical design, optimization, and analysis algorithms. She has received the ICCAD Best Paper Award (2021), the Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship (2021), the Louise T. Dosdall Fellowship (2020), and the Cadence Women in Technology scholarship (2020).
