Openings

PhD positions

Our group has multiple open PhD positions and we are looking for highly motivated students to join our research group. The research projects are in the development of high performance electronic devices using wide and ultra wide band gap semiconductors like Ga2O3 and (Al,Ga)N. The research work is highly interdisciplinary in nature and would be at the interface of electrical engineering, semiconductor device physics and materials science. Prospective PhD students are expected to be involved in epitaxial growth of wide band gap semiconductors like Ga2O3 and GaN using MOCVD, TCAD modeling and simulation of devices, fabrication of semiconductor devices in the ASU Nanofab and on-wafer characterization of fabricated devices. Students with background in electrical engineering, physics or materials science, interested in pursuing research on semiconductor materials and devices are encouraged to directly contact Prof. Kalarickal at [email protected].

Post Doc positions

We currently do not have opening for postdoctoral researchers.

Undergraduate research opportunities

ASU undergraduate students interested in working on modeling or fabrication of semiconductor devices are encouraged to contact Prof. Kalarickal and discuss research interests.
