Locomotion Research Laboratory Featured on Inside Edition

The Locomotion Research Laboratory was recently featured on Inside Edition! The segment highlights our ongoing research on slip and fall prevention, showing how our team uses motion capture and a safety harness system to study how people move on wet bathing surfaces.

Falls in the bathroom are a leading cause of injury among older adults, and our work aims to inform safer bathtub and shower design standards. We’re grateful to Inside Edition for helping share this research with a national audience, and to all of the volunteers who make our studies possible.
